Creates karaoke content by removing vocals from regular MP3 audio files. Supports batch conversion and automatically copies the original song's metadata.

MP3 Karaoke is a practical software tool whose aim is to remove the human voice from songs in MP3, leaving them ready for Karaoke applications. The program, however, cannot create KAR files – it simply generates new MP3 files without the human voice. MP3 Karaoke is capable of transferring the original ID3 tag information into the resulting files, and it supports batch conversion as well.

It is necessary to take into account that removing the human voice from an existing audio file is a very complicated task, even for sophisticated tools such as MP3 Karaoke. That's why the program does not always produce satisfactory results. In fact, it is rarely capable of generating a 100 % satisfactory track, ready to be used with a karaoke application or device. The program introduces strange noises in the resulting files and, in most cases, it is not capable of removing the human voice totally. In other cases, the removing process dramatically reduces the original volume of the sound.

Anyway, the program offers a neat user interface and allows you to convert many source files in batch mode. It includes a navigation tree on the left side which allows you to add all your MP3 songs into the source files panel quickly and easily. However, you can also add files by using the drag-and-drop method. Finally, you can also configure the output settings of the MP3 encoder, including the sampling frequency, the bit rate, and the stereo mode.

To sum up, despite all the functionality and features offered by MP3 Karaoke, I would say it will rarely produce satisfactory – let alone professional – results for karaoke applications.
